MARTIN Adams has become the latest legendary name to join the field for the 2022 World Seniors Darts Championship as one of the initial line-up.
Adams was instantly linked with the event when invites were said to be being offered to ex-World Champions for the event, promoted and operated by MODUS and Snooker Legends, set to take place early next year. The opportunity to see one of the biggest figures from the BDO return to action has certainly caught the attention of fans.
Three-time World Champion Adams has retained his high-level performance via the MODUS Leagues including weekly group wins and even a 9-darter over the past 12 months. Adams completes a trio of superstars to be announced with Phil Taylor and Ted Hankey already confirming their involvement confirmed this week.
Also confirmed include Bob Anderson, Keith Deller, John Walton, John Lowe, Wayne Warren, and Dennis Priestley Others including Andy Fordham, Richie Burnett, John Part and Les Wallace
14 invited players in total will be confirmed before next year's inaugural tournament with two more qualifiers to come from the 'Senior Qualifying School'.
