Barstow wins Champions Week.

 

Barstow, who reached the finale having finished top of Group B on Thursday and Friday, came through his group of three in recording 4-2 victories over Colin Osborne and Keelan Kay to progress to the Semi Finals, where he came up against Group A winner from earlier in the week, Chris Gilliland, and dispatched him 4-1 to reach the decider and book a spot in Champions Week, no matter what the outcome was in the decider. 

 

Barstow showed his class in the decider, in which he came up against Kevin Burness, and whitewashed the Irish thrower 4-0 with a 111 average, to pick up the Week 4 crown of Phase 4.

 

Elsewhere, beaten Semi Finalists Chris Gilliland and Keelan Kay competed in a 3rd place playoff to see who would join Barstow and Burness in Champions Week, and it was Gilliland who was victorious, in coming out as a 4-2 victor.   

 

Online Darts Live League returns on Monday with Champions Week commencing with the first of three days of Group A, with the field to be confirmed in due course. Play will commence from 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
