Who doesn't have a favourite Lakeside memory? Winmau and friends have launched an affectionate social media project to look back at the history from one of darts' most popular event and venues.
Lim hits the perfect 9, Andy Fordham claims an emotional win, and Eric Bristow bags three-in-a-row, in his pomp. These are just the first three of a sensational treasure trove brought to us by Winmau, Richard Ashdown, and Wayne Mardle.
Surely 'The Count' will make an appearance or two, will a 'Golden Girl' be seen making her mark, and perhaps a hungrier-looking Barney will loom large.
January brings to mind hundreds of darting moments from the 34 years of the Lakeside event. Millions hold the venue, and its history, in great affection and it will be a welcome relief from these Covid and lockdown dominated times.
