Paul Lim has qualified for his 26th World Championship. Lim won the PDC Asia Singapore Qualifier by beating namesake Harith Lim in the final. The Legendary arrosmith will be seeijng double over the next few weeks as he will also be in the inaugural field for the World Seniors Darts in February 2022.

The legendary globetrotter saw off Evan Goh, Andy Tan and Jeremyn Seah en route. A tougher semi-final, versus Leslie Lee, helped steel Lim for what was to come.

Facing him in the final was World Cup of Darts partner, Harith Lim. Harith had defeated Leonard Chai, Terry Tan and Simon Liew on his way to the final and had a simpler semi final vs Froy Soco (5-1).

Harith Lim started well and lead 2-1 after a 93-finish on the bull. Paul Lim held his own leg for 2-2. In the fifth leg, Harith missed out on a 78-finish and Paul broke and backed up the break  for 4-2. In leg 7, Paul missed one match dart, on a 105 finish, in the next with harith moving to within one.

The 67-year-old ensured that no decider was needed taking out 16 in leg 8 and returning to Ally Pally!
