Josh Richardson, Brian Raman, Kevin Burness, Rob Collins and Shaun Griffiths all booked their places in Saturday’s Finale on Friday at the Online Darts Live League, after coming through their respective groups to join Mike Warburton, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Richardson, who entered Friday’s play having completed a clean sweep on Thursday and dropping just four legs on route, completed a clean sweep again in winning five matches from five, in defeating Reece Colley, Brian Raman, Nick Fullwell, David Wawrzewski and Mark Hylton, to end on 20 points from a possible 20 and a leg difference of +25.
Elsewhere, Brian Raman also secured his place in Saturday’s finale after finishing 2nd overall on 10 points, with the Belgian winning three of his five matches during Friday’s play. Also, three players in David Wawrzewski, Nick Fullwell and Reece Colley all ended on 8 points each with Mark Hylton finishing bottom on 6 points.
In Group B, Shaun Griffiths completed a clean sweep on Friday evening, in recording victories over Keelan Kay, Rob Collins, Matthew Dennant and Kevin Burness, to end on 10 points overall from the two nights of play, but finished behind Kevin Burness and Rob Collins, who also ended on 10 points each and both with a leg difference of +5, compared to Griffiths on +4. The two players who missed out on a spot in the finale were Keelan Kay and Matthew Dennant, who ended 4th and 5th respectively, with Kay finishing on 6 points and Dennant on 4 points.
Online Darts Live League continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week 1 with the six players battling, it out for the 3 spots up for grabs for a place in Champions Week, with play commencing from 10:00pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
