Live League: Foursome secure finals spots

 

Former Tour Card Holder, Killington, who entered Friday’s play joint 2nd on 6 points from the opening day, completed a clean sweep with five wins from five as he finished top overall, after recording victories over Carl Hamilton, Josh McCarthy, Gareth Ashley, Ryan Furness and Johnny Haines, to end on 16 points from a possible 20, going into the finale on Saturday. 

 

Elsewhere, Ryan Furness also secured a place in the finale, after he finished 2nd overall on 12 points, with Johnny Haines also ending on 12 points, but narrowly missing out on leg difference, after he won just one solitary match on Friday, despite winning all five of his matches during Thursday’s play. Also, Carl Hamilton ended 4th overall on 10 points, Josh McCarthy in 5th on 6 points and Gareth Ashley bottom on 4 points. 

 

In Group B, it was Mike Gillet who finished top of the group, despite only winning two of his four matches, after defeating Colin Monk and Stephen Burton, but losing to Andy Jenkins and Scott Williams, to end on 10 points overall, as did Stephen Burton, who finished 2nd behind Gillet on leg difference. 

 

Scott Williams was the final player to secure a place in the finale, after he finished 3rd overall on 8 points, at the expense of Andy Jenkins, who despite finishing top of Friday’s daily table, missed out on leg difference behind Williams, with Colin Monk finishing bottom overall on 4 points. 

 

Online Darts Live League continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week 4 with the six players battling, it out for the 3 spots up for grabs for a place in Champions Week, with play commencing from 10:00pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
