Live League: Furness's four from five

Ryan Furness took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day 1 of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with Champions Week of Phase 5 commencing at the Online Darts Live League.


Furness, who entered Champions Week having won the 3rd Place Playoff of the finale in Week 4, won four of his five matches to take the early lead in Group A, after he recorded victories over Martin Adams, Richie Burnett, Connor Scutt and Robert Thornton, with his only defeat coming against Scott Williams. 


Elsewhere, Connor Scutt and Richie Burnett both ended the day with 6 points each, with Scutt finishing 2nd with a higher leg difference, as Martin Adams and Scott Williams finished 4th and 5th respectively on 4 points each, with Robert Thornton finishing bottom on 2 points. 


Online Darts Live League continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Furness leading the way thus far. Play will begin at 9:30 GMT and will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
