Live League: Justicia leads the way

Jose Justicia maintained his place at the top of Group A on Tuesday, after he won three of his five matches going into the final day, with the table topper securing a place in Saturday’s finale, as Week 3 of Phase 6 at the Online Darts Live League continued.

Spain’s Justicia, who entered Tuesday’s play having won all five of his matches during his Live League debut on Monday, won three of his five matches, after recording victories over Martin Adams, Robert Owen and Robert Thornton, with defeats coming against Martin Heneghan and Scott Williams, as he sits on 16 points going into the final day of Group A.

Elsewhere, the day belonged to Scott Williams, who completed a clean sweep with five wins from five, dropping just seven legs on route, as he sits on 14 points overall, 2 short of Justicia. Monday’s Nine Dart star Martin Adams sits in 3rd overall on 12 points, after he won three of his five matches on Tuesday. Martin Heneghan and Robert Thornton both won two of their five matches, as they sit 5th and 6th respectively overall, with Heneghan on 6 points and Thornton on 4 points, as Robert Owen sits in 4th on 8 points, despite failing to register a victory during Tuesday’s play.

Online Darts Live League continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Justicia leading the way thus far. Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups in Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray. Play will begin at 9:30 GMT on Wednesday and will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
