Live League: Richardson goes unbeaten

JOSH Richardson and Kevin Burness took the early lead in their respective groups on Thursday in ending the day, top, as they look to join Mike Warburton in Saturday’s finale at the Online Darts Live League.

Richardson, who’s regularly featured in the Live League in 2021, completed a clean sweep to kick off his Group C campaign, as he recorded victories over Mark Hylton, David Wawrzewski, Nick Fullwell, Brian Raman and Reece Colley, dropping just four legs on route. 

Elsewhere, Reece Colley ended the day in 2nd on 6 points, with three players in Nick Fullwell, Brian Raman and Mark Hylton all ending the day on 4 points each, with Fullwell finishing 3rd with a higher leg difference between the trio, as David Wawrzewski finished bottom on 2 points. 

In Group B, it was Kevin Burness who ended the night top, as the Former Tour Card Holder, completed a clean sweep with four wins from four, as he recorded victories over Shaun Griffiths, Keelan Kay, Matthew Dennant and Rob Collins. 

Elsewhere, Rob Collins and Keelan Kay both ended the night on 4 points each, with Collins ending with a higher leg difference, as Matthew Dennant and Shaun Griffiths finished 4th and 5th respectively on 2 points each. 

Online Darts Live League continues on Friday with players continuing to battle out as they aim to join Mike Warburton in Saturday’s finale, with Richardson and Burness taking the early lead thus far. Group C will commence from 9:30am GMT and Group B will commence from 10pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
