Adam Smith-Neale, Scott Walters, Connor Scutt, Ryan Furness and Chas Barstow all booked their places in Saturday’s Finale on Friday at the Online Darts Live League, after coming through their respective groups to join Chris Gilliland, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Smith-Neale, who entered Friday’s play having completed a clean sweep on his Online Darts Live League debut on Thursday, won three of his five matches to secure qualification and topping Group C, after recording victories over Colin Osborne, Scott Marsh and Richie Burnett, before losing to Scott Walters and Kurt Parry.
Scott Walters also secured qualification into the finale through Group C, after finishing 2nd overall on 12 points, in winning three of his five matches on Friday and edging past Colin Osborne, who despite topping the daily table and finishing on 12 points overall, missed out on leg difference behind Walters. Scott Marsh ended his week’s campaign in 4th overall on 10 points, Kurt Parry in 5th on 8 points, and Richie Burnett bottom on 2 points.
In Group B, it was Connor Scutt who topped the Group, after completing a clean sweep for the second day in a row, to end on 16 points from a possible 16 and a leg difference of +24, meaning he dropped just eight legs across the two nights of play.
Ryan Furness and Chas Barstow also secured their places into the finale after finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Furness ending on 10 points and Barstow on 6 points, as Jarred Cole and Martin Thomas both missed out in ending on 4 points each.
Online Darts Live League continues on Saturday with the conclusion of Week 2 with the six players battling it out for the 3 spots up for grabs at Champions Week, with play commencing from 10:00pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
