Mike Warburton secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday at the Online Darts Live League, as Group A came to a close with the Welshman winning all five of his matches, as the fields were confirmed for Thursday and Friday’s Groups B and C.
Warburton, who entered Wednesday’s table on 10 points from the opening two days, completed a clean sweep to secure his place in Saturday’s finale, after recording victories over Kevin Burness, Reece Colley, Nick Fullwell, Brian Raman and Keelan Kay, dropping just six legs on route.
Elsewhere, Keelan Kay and Kevin Burness will compete in Group B, after the pair ended their Group A campaigns on 18 points each overall, with Kay winning four of his five matches on Wednesday, with Burness winning just two. The pair will be joined in Group B by Matthew Dennant, Rob Collins and Shaun Griffiths.
Brian Raman and Nick Fullwell also ended the day with two wins from five, as they will compete in Group C, after Raman ended 4th on 14 points and Nick Fullwell bottom on 10 points, with Reece Colley finishing ahead of Fullwell in 5th on leg difference, despite suffering five defeats from five during Wednesday’s play. The trio will be joined in Group C by Josh Richardson, David Wawrezski and debutant Mark Hylton.
