MODUS Live League: Adams strikes back

Martin Adams moved level with James Richardson at the top of Group A on Tuesday, after he won four of his five matches going into the final day, with the table topper securing a place in Saturday’s finale, as Week 2 of Phase 5 at the Online Darts Live League continued.

Adams, who entered Tuesday’s play in 2nd on 6 points from the opening day, won four of his five matches, after he recorded victories over Gary Robson, Richie Burnett, Stu Wilson and James Richardson, with his only defeat coming against Niall Culleton. 

Elsewhere, Richie Burnett also ended the day on 8 points, as he sits in 3rd overall on 12 points from the two days of play. Monday’s table topper James Richardson ended the day with three wins from five, as did Niall Culleton, who sits in 4th overall on 10 points. Stu Wilson ended the day with one solitary win as he sits in 5th on 6 points, with Gary Robson suffering five defeats from five, as he sits bottom on 4 points. 

Online Darts Live League continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Adams and Richardson leading the way thus far. Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups in Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray. Play will begin at 9:30 GMT on Wednesday and will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
