MODUS Live League: Burness heads Champions Week.

Kevin Burness took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day 1 of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with Champions Week commencing at the Online Darts Live League.
 
Burness, who entered Champions Week having finished runners up in the finale of Week 4, won four of his five matches on Monday to take the early lead in Group A, as he recorded victories over Martin Adams, Gary Stone, Robert Owen and Jarred Cole, with his only defeat coming against Richie Burnett. 
 
Elsewhere, Gary Stone and Robert Owen both ended with three wins from five, with Stone finishing 2nd with a higher leg difference. Richie Burnett and Jarred Cole ended with two wins each, as Martin Adams finished bottom with one solitary win. 
 
Online Darts Live League continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Burness leading the way thus far. Play will begin at 9:30 BST and will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
