Jarred Cole secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday at the Online Darts Live League, as Group A came to a close with Nathan Girvan topping the daily table, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C.
Cole, who entered Wednesday’s play on the back of completing clean sweeps on both Monday and Tuesday, won just two matches from five which saw his 10-match unbeaten run come to an end. On the day, he recorded victories over Darren Beveridge and Scott Marsh, with his three defeats coming against Nathan Girvan, Richie Burnett and Mike Warburton.
Elsewhere, Mike Warburton will compete in Group B, after he won three of his five matches on Wednesday to finish on 18 points overall, and will be joined by Richie Burnett, who also won three matches from five, to end in 3rd on 14 points. The pair will be joined in Group B by Paul Hogan, Justin Smith and Scott Williams.
Scott Marsh and Darren Beveridge narrowly missed out on a place in Group B, as they both ended on 12 points each overall, two short of Burnett, after they both won two matches from five on Wednesday to secure a place in Group C, alongside Nathan Girvan, who topped the daily table on 6 points, to end his campaign on 10 points overall. The trio will be joined in Group C by Wes Newton, Lee Cocks and a debut in the Online Darts Live League for Connor Scutt.
Online Darts Live League continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 9:30am GMT and Group B commencing from 9:30pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
