Jarred Cole was victorious on Saturday in winning Week 2 of the Online Darts Live League and securing a place in Champions Week, after defeating Richie Burnett in the decider, with Connor Scutt winning the 3rd place playoff to secure his qualification into Champions Week, as the second week of Phase 4 concluded.
Cole, who entered the finale on the back of winning Group A earlier in the week, came through his group of three in dropping just one leg on route to victories over Mike Warburton and Connor Scutt to progress through to the semi-finals, in which he came up against Lee Cocks, and came out a 4-0 victor, to book his place in the final and a spot at Champions Week, no matter what the outcome was in the decider.
Nothing separated both Cole and Burnett in the final, with the tie going all the way, as Cole edged through,4-3, to pick up the Week 2 crown of Phase 4.
Elsewhere, beaten Semi Finalists Lee Cocks and Connor Scutt competed in a 3rd place playoff to see who would join Cole and Burnett in Champions Week, and it was Scutt who was victorious, in coming out as a 4-1 victor.
Online Darts Live League returns on Monday with Week 3 commencing with the first of three days of Group A, with the field to be confirmed in due course. Play will commence from 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
