Robert Owen, Rob Collins, Chas Barstow, Gary Stone and Jarred Cole all secured their places in Saturday’s Champions Week finale on Friday at the Online Darts Live League, after coming through their respective groups, to join Kevin Burness, the winner of Group A earlier in the week.
Owen, who entered Friday’s play top of Group C, won four of his five matches to progress through to the finale as he recorded victories over Connor Scutt, Chris Gilliland, Johnny Haines and Martin Adams, with his only defeat coming against Rob Collins, who also progressed as he finished 2nd overall on 12 points, ahead of Chris Gilliland in 3rd on 10 points.
In Group B, it was Chas Barstow who was victorious in winning the group as he won two of his four matches on Friday evening, on the back of completing a clean sweep on Thursday. Gary Stone and Jarred Cole also progressed through Group B, as they finished 2nd and 3rd respectively, with Stone completing a clean sweep with four wins from four on Friday and Cole edging past Richie Burnett on leg difference.
Online Darts Live League continues on Saturday with the Champions Week finale, as the six players battle it out for the £12,000 prize money, with the winner picking up the £7,000 first prize, as play commences at 10:00 BST. Play will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
