MODUS Live League: Gilliland and Burness lead

Chris Gilliland and Kevin Burness are tied at the top of Group A table going into the final day, after the pair both won four of their five matches on Tuesday, as Week 4 of Phase 4 continued at the Online Darts Live League. 

Gilliland, who entered Tuesday’s play behind Burness on leg difference, ended the day with a higher leg difference this time than Burness as he won his opening four matches with victories over Conan Whitehead, Alan Norris and John O’Shea, as well as Burness, with his only defeat coming against Keelan Kay in the final game of the day. 

Elsewhere, Keelan Kay ended the day on 6 points as he sits in 3rd overall on 12 points, John O’Shea ended the day in 4th on 4 points, as Alan Norris and Conan Whitehead ended with just one solitary win each. 

Online Darts Live League continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Gilliland and Burness leading the way thus far. Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups in Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray. Play will begin at 9:30 BST on Wednesday and will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
