MODUS Live League: Gilliland through

Chris Gilliland secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, as Group A came to a close, with the fields being confirmed for Groups B and C. 

Gilliland, who entered Wednesday’s play tied with Kevin Burness on 16 points each, made it a perfect day in dropping just 5 legs across his five victories over Alan Norris, John O’Shea, Kevin Burness, Keelan Kay and Conan Whitehead, to end on 26 points overall and a leg difference of +30. 

Elsewhere, Kevin Burness and Keelan Kay will compete in Group B, with the pair winning three of their five matches to end 2nd and 3rd respectively overall, with Burness finishing on 22 points, and Kay on 18. The duo will be joined in Group B by Chas Barstow, Joe Davis and Mike Gillet. 

Despite also winning three of his five matches and ending 2nd on the daily table, John O’Shea will compete in Group C, after he finished on 16 points overall. Conan Whitehead and Alan Norris will also compete in Group C, after they ended their campaigns on 4 points each from the three days of play. The trio will be joined in Group C by Colin Osborne, Adrian Gray and an Online Darts Live League debut for recent Development Tour Event winner, Liam Meek. 

Online Darts Live League continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 9:30am GMT and Group B commencing from 9:30pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
