Modus Live League: Stone blocks Henghan brothers

Gary Stone moved top of Group A on Tuesday, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five and looks set to secure a place in Saturday’s finale, as Week 3 of Phase 4 of the Online Darts Live League continued.

Stone, who entered Tuesday’s play on 6 points from the opening day, dropped just 8 legs on route to completing a clean sweep after he recorded victories over Conor Heneghan, Martin Adams, Jamie Caven, Tom Baughan and Martin Heneghan.

Elsewhere, Martin Adams ended the day with four wins from five, as he sits on 12 points overall, level with Conor Heneghan, but behind on leg difference, despite the Irishman only winning three of his five matches. Martin Heneghan ended the day with two wins from five as he sits in 4th overall on 10 points, Jamie Caven in 5th on 8 points after he recorded just one solitary win and it was disappointing day for Tom Baughan, who failed to register a victory with five defeats from five, as he sits on 2 points overall.

Online Darts Live League continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Stone leading the way thus far. Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups in Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray. Play will begin at 9:30 BST on Wednesday and will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
