The Darts World Years: 1990

There is little more to be said. As an indicator, of the troubles darts was facing, they come no clearer than the end of the longest running event.

The Darts World Editor's comment piece tries to be positive and to appreciate the commitment the NotW had given us. But the fear could not be hidden.
