COLIN Osborne took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day 1 of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, with the fourth week of Phase 5 commencing at the Online Darts Live League.
Osborne, a Darts World contributor, who has featured regularly in the Live League in 2021, took the early lead in Group A, in winning four of his five matches, after recording victories over Andy Jenkins, Scott Williams, Gareth Ashley and Josh McCarthy, with his only defeat coming against Johnny Haines, who also won four of his five matches, but finished behind Osborne on leg difference.
Elsewhere, Scott Williams ended the day in 3rd on 6 points, with Andy Jenkins and Gareth Ashley ending with 4 points each, with Jenkins finishing 4th with a slightly higher leg difference, as Josh McCarthy suffered a winless run with five defeats from five.
Online Darts Live League continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Osborne leading the way thus far. Play will begin at 9:30 GMT and will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
