World Seniors field complete

By JR Lott 17/11/2021

Richie Howson and Kevin Burness came through tough qualifier events over the weekend to add their names to the remarkable line-up for next February's World Seniors darts World Championship.

The full field includes legendary names from every decade of darts 'modern era' with iconic names from the UK, The Netherlands, North America, and Singapore.

Howson, a former pro Tour player  claimed the first of two places reserved for the qualifiers by overcoming Ian Moss in a deciding leg:

Quarter-Finals

Colin McGarry 5-4 Jim McEwan

Richie Howson 5-4 Brian Dawson

Ian Moss 5-3 Dave Prins

Kevin Burness 5-4 Johnny Haines

Semi-Finals

Richie Howson 6-4 Colin McGarry

Ian Moss 6-2 Kevin Burness

Final

Richie Howson 6-5 Ian Moss

Sunday's second qualifier saw Kevin Burness dominate after reaching the last four the previous day. The Iron man has been in fine form in the MODUS Live League and imposed himself throughout the later stages. David Airey 5-1 Gareaint Thomas

Semi-Finals
