Colin Osborne reached the finals of this week’s MODUS Live League firing in a perfect leg along the way. The Wizard’s magic moment marks another step on his remarkable road to reclaiming his place in the higher reaches of competitive darts.
Colin threw his nine-darter during the group stage on Thursday in a match against former World Master John O’Shea. The Wizard added a route not seen in this event previously, hitting scores of 180 and 177, followed by a 144 checkout.
Whilst it is not Colin’s first rodeo, he has hit three PDC 9-Dart legs, it was the first to be broadcast and the first after his pain-staking rebuild.
The Wizard 2.0 has certainly begun to attract attention once more.
Over recent months Colin has claimed several open events and regularly reached the finals and Champions Weeks, of the Live League. A semi-final and several strong runs during the Challenge Tour are also strong indicators that The Wizard is making durable progress.
