You Bet! Bookies torn between Price & Wright?

Red Dragon Darts

Title sponsor Ladbrokes have installed Peter Wright as favourite to win the Ladbrokes Masters, with two weeks to go until the start of the first TV event of the season.

Newly-crowned two-time World Champion Wright is priced at 4/1 to claim the title, which would see the world number back up his world title win just as he did in 2020.

World number one Gerwyn Price and five-time Masters winner varies between joint favourite at 4-1 or joining Michael van Gerwen at 9/2, while reigning champion Jonny Clayton is next at 6/1.

World Championship runner-up Michael Smith is a 7/1 chance to win a first TV title in almost four years, World Championship semi-finalist Gary Anderson is 16/1, and world number seven Jose de Sousa is 20/1.

There seems to be value in both Michael Smith at 7/1 and Anderson at 16 -1 based on there recent form and, for Smith, that the event is non-ranking.

The 2022 Ladbrokes Masters will take place from January 28-30 at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes, with tickets now on General Sale.
