PDC in magnanimous gesture for Lakeside players.

Play the Pro Darts Scorer

The Professional Darts Corporation has granted permission for seven new Tour Card Holders to compete in the 2022 WDF World Championship. The PDC’s Player Contract requires Tour Card Holders to obtain permission to compete in broadcasted events that are not organised by the PDC.

The WDF tournament had been scheduled for early January before being moved to April 2-10 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with seven qualifiers subsequently winning a PDC Tour Card at the 2022 Qualifying School in mid-January.

The PDC’s Board of Directors has agreed to a one-off exception to the Player Contract to permit these seven players to compete without penalty in the rearranged event should they wish.

The seven players are Nick Fullwell, Cameron Menzies, Ross Montgomery, Brian Raman, Connor Scutt, Mario Vandenbogaerde, and Jules van Dongen.

Nick Fullwell has already played in both events previously and could now also do so in the same season!
