Luke Humphries has penned a new deal with Red Dragon that will see him extend his stay for the foreseeable future.
Cool Hand, now a PDC ranking-title winner, following his success at Players Championship 1 this weekend, Luke is closing in on the World’s Top 16.
The former PDC World Youth Champion, is one of the most promising players currently on the PDC circuit and many pundits believe it is only a matter of time before he picks up his first major title.
Luke has already had many magical moments in his career, including becoming the only Premier League Challenger to win a game, defeating Gary Anderson, and his impressive run to the Final of the 2021 UK Open, including a dominant win over Michael van Gerwen in the Semi Final.
Marketing Director for Red Dragon, Simon Hall, told us, “Luke is an incredible darts player, and we are still yet to see his full potential. It is fantastic that Luke has committed his future to Red Dragon. We can’t wait to be apart of the next chapter in Luke’s journey.”
Luke added, “I am delighted to have re-signed with Red Dragon, the new darts we have come up with are going very well in practise and I know I can push onto new levels in the next few years.
“2022 is going to be a very big year for me, I am hoping to kick on in the big TV events and climb into the Top 16 and beyond.”
