Adam Smith-Neale was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week 3 at the Online Darts Live League, after defeating Matthew Dennant in the final and securing a place in Champions Week, with Richard North also advancing in winning the 3rd place playoff.
Smith-Neale, who entered the finale having finished 2nd in Group C earlier in the week, won just one of his group phase matches, losing to Kevin Painter, before defeating Matthew Dennant, as he reached the Semi Finals, where he came up against Richard North, and came out a 4-1 victor to book his place in the final and a spot at Champions Week, no matter the outcome of the decider.
At that stage, Smith-Neale came up against Dennant for the 2nd time on the night, and nothing separated the pair, with Smith-Neale sealing the victory on Double 1 to defeat Dennant 4-3.
Elsewhere, beaten Semi Finalists Richard North and Scott Baker competed in a 3rd place playoff, with the winner joining Smith-Neale and Dennant in Champions Week, as North defeated Baker 4-3.
Online Darts Live League returns on Tuesday with Week 4 commencing with the first of two days of Group A, with the field to be announced in due course. Play will commence from 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
