Super Lisa Through to Series Finals

Lisa Ashton secured her place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after winning three of her five matches to end her Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.

Ashton, who entered Wednesday’s play on 14 points from the first two days of Group A, won three of her five matches for the second day in a row, as she recorded victories over Dan Read, Alan Tabern and Justin Smith, with defeats coming against Graham Usher and James Richardson, to seal her place in Saturday’s finale and finishing on 20 points from a possible 30.

Elsewhere, Justin Smith and Graham Usher will compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2^nd and 3^rd respectively on 16 points each, and will be joined by David Pallett, Jarred Cole and Nick Kenny on Thursday and Friday evening.

Despite topping Wednesday’s daily table, James Richardson will compete in Group C, after finishing 4^th overall on 14 points, with Alan Tabern and Dan Read finishing 5^th and 6^th respectively on 12 points each. The trio will be joined in Group C by Martin Thomas, Carl Wilkinson and Reece Colley.

Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 9:30am GMT and Group B commencing from 10pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
