Lauby Through To Weekly Finale

Danny Lauby secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after winning four of his five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.

Lauby, who entered Wednesday’s play in 2^nd on 14 points, topped the group overall, in winning four matches from five, as he recorded victories over Alec Small, Nathan Girvan, Sebastian Bialecki and Jamie Kelling, with his only defeat coming against Stefan Bellmont, to end on 22 points from a possible 30.

Table topper heading into the final day of Group A, Nathan Girvan narrowly missed out on an automatic spot in Saturday’s finale, after finishing 2^nd overall on 20 points and will compete in Group B, alongside Sebastian Bialecki, who also finished on 20 points, but behind Girvan on leg difference. The duo will be joined by Scott Williams, Colin Osborne and Matthew Dennant.

Jamie Kelling, Stefan Bellmont and Alec Small will compete in Group C, after finishing 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively, with Kelling and Bellmont ending on 10 points each and Small ending on 8 points. The trio will be joined by Arron Monk, Lee Cocks and Kurt Parry.

Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 9:30am GMT and Group B commencing from 10pm GMT. Play will be streamed live on Online Darts TV YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
