Jiwa Achieves Palace Ambition

Play the Pro Darts Scorer

Prakash Jiwa secured a Cazoo World Championship debut by winning the Indian Qualifier, defeating Nitin Kumar in the final.

Sunday’s qualifier in Surat saw India’s top talents competing for a place in the 2022/23 Cazoo World Darts Championship.

Former PDC Tour Card Holder Jiwa fought off a comeback attempt from three-time World Championship qualifier Kumar to book his place at Alexandra Palace for the first time.

Jiwa raced into a 5-0 lead, before Kumar fought back to within a leg at 5-4 and missed three darts to force a decider.

Two-time UK Open Qualifier Jiwa found the winning double in the following visit with the 52-year-old now looking forward to a first appearance in the world’s biggest darts event.
