With the sport of darts getting bigger and bigger by the year, a brand-new app has been released onto the app store that gives you at home the chance to play against a professional player through this brand-new darts/scorer app.
The new scoring software includes the choice of up to five players who you can play, including four Winmau players in Michael van Gerwen, Simon Whitlock, Mark Webster and Paul Nicholson as well as the reigning Women’s World Matchplay winner Fallon Sherrock.
The Play the Pro app includes the new Modus Super Series stage, with the introduction of the competition coming earlier in the year.
Features include options to customise your own player in the create a player section, with a choice of an audio name which will be used in your created match by MODUS Super Series and Official George Noble referee.
The app will record your average when you play, as well as a solo practice mode and a race to 3001 points, which you play against the pro when you practise.
When you choose your professional player, Play the Pro uses clips of the player hitting a specific score whilst on the Super Series stage, with the app calculating the scores of both you and the pro in a match situation.
Before unlocking any further features, you must play an exhibition match, which will give you an idea of how the app works and how it will help to show where your game is at.
The Play the Pro app is free to download now on the app store, with an added feature of Mark Webster and Paul Nicholson on commentary whilst you play.
