Gary Stone took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day 1 of Group A, top, after completing a clean sweep, with five wins from five, with Week 4 of Stage 3 commencing at the Modus Super Series.
Scotland’s Stone made his return to the Super Series with the best possible start, as he completed a clean sweep with five wins from five, recording victories over Robert Rickwood, Andy Boulton, Lee Shewan, Harry Ward and Martin Adams, dropping just eight legs along the way.
Elsewhere, Debutant Andy Boulton ended the day in 2nd on 6 points, whilst three players in Lee Shewan, Martin Adams and Robert Rickwood sit joint 3rd on 4 points each and the same leg difference of –2, as Harry Ward sits bottom on 2 points.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Stone leading the way thus far.
Play will begin at 9:30am GMT and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
