West Triumphs As Fallon Falls At Final Fence

Steve West was victorious on Saturday as he was crowned the winner of Week 7 at the Modus Super Series, after defeating Fallon Sherrock in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly £5,000 1^stprize.

West, who entered the finale having finished 2^nd in Group B on Thursday and Friday, won both of his group phase matches, as he defeated David Wawrzewski and Adam Hunt in a last leg decider to move through to the Semi-Finals, where he came up against Tony Wood, and from there, he whitewashed the ADC Qualifier, 4-0, to book his place in the final.

Wood had turned round a tough week, after featuring in the heavyweight Group A, to top his table in Group C and had also come through Sherrock’s group on the final night itself.

In the decider, West came up against Fallon Sherrock, who’d defeated Adam Hunt in the previous round, and the Former Tour Card Holder came out on top, as he defeated ‘The Queen of the Palace’ 4-1 to pick up the Week 7 crown, seal his place in Champions Week and claim the £5,000 weekly 1^st prize.

The Modus Super Series returns on Monday with the start of Week 8, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field to be announced in due course.
