DWE is a frequent value-packed publication, between our regular print issues and for specific occasions in the Darts’ World. The focus of this EXTRA issue are some of the Heroes that our game produces. Whether their high profile, if unlikely, such as Andrew Gilding or more grassroots orientated like most of our last 16 in the inaugural Winmau Darts Hero competition
Inside we include introductions to the shortlist of 16 players, coaches, and other members of the darts community. A special feature on the international, community, and youth nominees.
Our On Tour features on the first/second weekends for the PDC’s tier tours and the WDF circuit give some good background into how this season is progressing off-screen. Meanwhile, Mark Webster and Colin Osborne give you the inside view on playing and working in this new darting age.
Our regular features are given a Hero theme with Bullseye’s and Bounceouts and Talking Points looking especially impressive. The Boardroom Extra makes an appearance with some very welcome news and even our non-UK contributors join the festivities with Wim Blokpoel’s review of the recent Dutch Open and Thomas Bartley looking at famed WDF events in Scotland and across Europe are there to ensure we don’t look inward too often!
