Alex Spellman took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after completing a clean sweep with five wins from five, with Week 10 of Stage Three commencing at the Modus Super Series.
The North American Star, Spellman made it a perfect debut at the Super Series, in winning five matches from five, as he recorded victories against Alexander Merkx, Kenny Neyens, Nathan Girvan, Luke Littler and Steven Johnstone.
Elsewhere, Kenny Neyens and Luke Littler ended the day 2nd and 3rd respectively on 6 points each, whilst Alexander Merkx and Steven Johnstone sit 4th and 5th on 4 points each, but it was a disappointing day for Nathan Girvan, as the Scot failed to register a victory, with five defeats from five.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Spellman leading the way thus far.
