9 Out of 10 For Baetens As Littler Gives Chase

Andy Baetens maintained his position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning four of his five matches on Day Two and looks set to secure his place in Saturday’s finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.

Baetens, who entered Tuesday’s play on 10 points from the opening day of Group A, won four matches from five to remain top of the table, as he recorded victories against Luke Littler, Leonard Gates, Chris Gilliland and Geert De Vos, with his only defeat coming against James Richardson, to sit on 18 points from a possible 20 thus far.

Elsewhere, Luke Littler is currently the closest competitor to Baetens, with the teenager sat in 2^nd on 12 points, whilst Chris Gilliland and James Richardson sit 3^rd and 4^th on 10 points each, with Leonard Gates sat in 5^th on 6 points and Geert De Vos bottom on 4 points.

The Modus Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Baetens leading the way thus far. Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups in Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.

Play will begin at 9:30am BST on Wednesday and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV and via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
