Conor Heneghan took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches.
As Week Five of Series Five commenced, at the Modus Super Series, Heneghan, who last appeared at the Super Series in July, made his return by taking the early lead in Group A.
He recorded victories against Leighton Bennett, Anton Ostlund, Rhys Griffin and Benjamin Drue Reus, with his only defeat coming against Mindaugas Barauskas.
Elsewhere, Benjamin Drue Reus also ended the day on 8 points, but sits behind Heneghan in 2nd on leg difference.
Rhys Griffin sits in 3rd on 6 points, Anton Ostlund in 4th on 4 points, with Mindaugas Barauskas and Leighton Bennett sitting 5th and 6th respectively on 2 points each.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Heneghan leading the way thus far.
