Andreas Harrysson secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after winning four of his five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C of the Modus Super Series.
Harrysson, who entered Wednesday’s play on 16 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall, after winning four of his five matches, as he recorded victories against Mikuru Suzuki, Chris Wickenden, Haruki Muramatsu and Cor Dekker.
The Swede’s only defeat coming against Kevin Painter, to end on 24 points from a possible 30.
Elsewhere, Haruki Muramatsu and Kevin Painter will compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2nd and 3rd respectively, with Muramatsu ending on 22 points and Painter on 16 points. The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Mike Gillet, Ryan Palmer and Tommy Lishman.
Cor Dekker, Chris Wickenden and Mikuru Suzuki will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4th, 5th and 6th respectively overall, with Dekker ending on 14 points, Wickenden on 10 points and Suzuki on 4 points. The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Shane McGuirk, Alec Small and Ricky Palmer.
Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm BST and Group B commencing from 10pm BST. Play will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
