Andreas Harrysson maintained his position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning three of his five matches on Day Two and looks set to secure his place in Saturday’s finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.
Harrysson, who entered Tuesday’s play on a maximum 10 points from the opening day of Group A, remains top of the table, after winning three of his five matches, as he recorded victories against Mikuru Suzuki, Cor Dekker and Chris Wickenden, with his two defeats coming against Kevin Painter and Haruki Muramatsu, to sit on 16 points from a possible 20 thus far.
Elsewhere, Haruki Muramatsu is currently the closest competitor to Harrysson, with the Japanese debutant sitting in 2nd overall on 14 points, whilst Kevin Painter and Cor Dekker sit 3rd and 4th respectively on 10 points each, with Chris Wickenden sitting in 5th on 8 points and Mikuru Suzuki bottom on 2 points.
The Modus Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Harrysson leading the way thus far.
Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups in Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.
Play will begin at 9:30am BST on Wednesday and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Sporty Stuff TV or via various bookmaker’s websites worldwide/
