Jon Worsley took the early lead on Monday, in ending Day One of Group A, top, after winning four of his five matches, as Week Eight of Series Six commenced at the Modus Super Series.
Worsley, who was a weekly winner during Series Three in 2023, made his return to the Super Series by taking the early lead in Group A, with the Welshman winning four matches from five, as he recorded victories against Matt Clark, Colin McGarry, Bram Van Dijk and Neil Duff, with his only defeat coming against Michel Van der Horst.
Elsewhere, Van der Horst also ended the day on 8 points, but sits in 2nd behind Worsley on leg difference, whilst Matt Clark sits in 3rd on 6 points, Neil Duff in 4th on 4 points, with Bram Van Dijk and Colin McGarry sitting 5th and 6th respectively on 2 points each.
The Modus Super Series continues on Tuesday with the six players returning, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Worsley leading the way thus far.
