Dutchman Bradly Roes, a former WDF boys world champion, triumphed in the most recent week of the MODUS Super Series – Week 3 of Series 7 – after beating Canadian international David Cameron 4-2 in the Final.
The youngster claims £5000 and will return for Champions Week at the Live Lounge, capping off a brilliant week after topping Group A on the Wednesday.
The Dutch international kickstarted his Finals Night campaign with a matchup against 17-year-old Jenson Walker, who impressed in Group C on the Thursday and Friday to qualify. Bradley produced 2 180s and an average of 92.07 in clinching a last leg decider, getting up and running with a 4-3 success in Final Group 1.
Roes’ place in the Semi Finals was confirmed after David Cameron beat Walker 4-2 in the second match. The 19-year-old still knew he had to top the group, which he did after defeating Exalibur 4-3 ahead of the Semi Finals.
The Red Dragon player then produced his best darts of the night to defeat World Championship Finalist Andy Hamilton 4-1 in the Semi Finals, scoring 97.18 in a strong display from the 2022 JDC World Championship winner.
Bradly, likened on social media to movie character Ace Ventura, went on to beat 2022 Senior World Masters champion David Cameron for the second time on the night to secure a maiden weekly win at the MODUS Super Series, pinning double 9 with his first dart to wrap up a 4-2 win in the Final.
Roes came through an action-packed Group A earlier in the week, sneaking through on legs difference ahead of former PDC Tour Card holder John Michael. The Dutch international picked up 10 wins from 15 matches and hit an impressive 153 finish in a 4-3 victory over Michael Huntley.
The former Lakeside winner will return at the end of the Series for a chance at £20,000, with Reece Robinson and Conor Heneghan the other players confirmed of a place in the Series 7 Champions Week.
Congratulations once again to Bradley Roes who proved he was the player to beat in Week 3 of Series 7 in the MODUS Super Series, topping Group A on the Wednesday before going on to win it all on the Saturday.
