Burnett’s Starter for 10

Richie Burnett maintained his position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning all five of his matches on Day Two and looks set to secure his place in Saturday’s finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.

Burnett, who entered Tuesday’s play on 10 points from the opening day of Group A, won five matches from five once again to remain at the top of the table. The former Lakeside World Champion has won his first ten games on the Super Series Stage and will seek to be the first to record a Group A sweep of all 15 on Wednesday.

The Red Dragon thrower recorded victories against Shane McGuirk, Jeroen Mioch, Killian McCormack, Jimmy Van Schie and Andy Davidson, dropping just seven legs across the day to sit on 20 points from a possible 20 thus far.

Elsewhere, Jimmy Van Schie is the closest competitor to Burnett, with the Dutchman sitting in 2^nd on 12 points, whilst Andy Davidson sits in 3^rd on 10 points, Shane McGuirk in 4^th on 8 points, Jeroen Mioch in 5^th on 6 points and Killian McCormack bottom on 4 points.

The Modus Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Burnett leading the way thus far.

Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups for Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.

Play will begin at 9:30am BST on Wednesday and will be streamed live on The Modus YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
