The Andy Sandiford Memorial Knockout was staged at Dawley Social Club, Telford and began with a 32 draw.
Making their exit in the last eight were Chris Fox, Kevin Harris, Adam Thackray and Pete
Thackray before the semi-finals in which Dan Astbury beat Andy Jervis 5-4 and Sam Aitkens won 5-3
against Brett Cooper, the losers receiving £15 each.
The final saw Dan Astbury collect £80 as the 6-3 winner with Sam Aitkens picking up £45.
At the end of the day the event was all about raising funds for the Severn Hospice where Andy spent his last few weeks and a total of £236 was raised.
