Wilson Extends MSS Lead

Carl Wilson maintained his position at the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning four of his five matches on Day Two and looks to secure his place in Saturday’s finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.

Wilson, who entered Tuesday’s play on 8 points from the opening day of Group A, won four matches from five again to remain at the top of the table, as he recorded victories against Niels Van Zanten, Neil Duff, Darius Labanauskas and Bradley Brooks, with his only defeat coming against Steve West, to sit on 16 points from a possible 20 thus far.

Elsewhere, Darius Labanauskas is the closest competitor to Wilson, with the Lithuanian sitting in 2^nd on 14 points, whilst Bradley Brooks and Steve West sit 3^rd and 4^th respectively on 10 points each, with Neil Duff sitting in 5^th on 6 points and Niels Van Zanten bottom on 4 points.

The Modus Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Wilson leading the way thus far.

Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups in Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.
