Harrysson Seals MSS Finale Spot

Andreas Harrysson secured his place in Saturday’s finale on Wednesday, after winning four of his five matches to end his Group A campaign, top, as the field was confirmed for Groups B and C at the Modus Super Series.

Harrysson, who entered Wednesday’s play on 14 points from the opening two days of Group A, topped the group overall after winning four of his five matches. The Swede came from behind after Warburton and Smith had led the group after days one and two respectively.

The Series 7 champion recorded victories against Mike Warburton, Dennis Van der Ende, Darren Barton and Justin Smith, with his only defeat coming against Ross Montgomery, to end on 22 points from a possible 30.

Elsewhere, Justin Smith and Mike Warburton will compete in Group B, after the pair finished 2^nd and 3^rd respectively overall, with Smith ending on 20 points and Warburton on 18 points. The duo will be joined on Thursday and Friday Evening by Robert Thornton, Martin Adams and Tommy Morris.

Ross Montgomery, Darren Barton and Dennis Van der Ende will all compete in Group C, after finishing 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively overall, with Montgomery and Barton ending on 14 points each, whilst Van der Ende ended on 2 points.

The trio will be joined on Thursday and Friday Afternoon by Jamie Kelling, Ryan Branley and Dan Nicholls.

The Modus Super Series continues on Thursday with Group C commencing from 1pm BST and Group B commencing from 10pm BST. Play will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
