The latest print issue of Darts World Magazine is out now and on route to our distributors in time for the early days of Ally Pally 2025.
This issue marks the passing of the tungsten torch. From the last representative of the original ‘golden generation’ to be active in the PDC , Steve Beaton, to Luke Littler and others form the generations that have followed.
There are several feature articles from our favourite writers as we sum up a season of change, variety and excitement.
Inside there are Lakeside, ADC UKDA and more reviews as well as previews of The PDC World Championships.
There is also a fantastic 8 page supplement celebrating the remarkable 40 year elite career of ‘The Bronzed Adonis’.
As always there are reviews of the latest products, this time from the recent Winmau Launch, and tip on how to progress you game from our ‘Practice Partner’ GoDartsPro.
The traditional opening piece is known as ‘On The Wire‘ and is replicated below, get your copy, or a fabulous value subscription, here:
WELCOME to the final Darts World Magazine for 2024. What a year it has been for our sport. From the first month to the last we have been making headlines across the globe and across the mainstream.
Surely the most keenly anticipated season climax is almost upon us and will reach fever pitch on December 15th at ‘The Palace’.
The last few weeks have been almost like one long warm up act with the two Lukes battling away and lifting titles again. With young master Littler lifting his first ranking major at the Grand Slam and Cool hand Humphries retaining his Player championships trophy.
But, it’s the outsiders who have really come to the fore since our last print tissue. Mike De Decker and Richie Edhouse claiming major crowns within weeks of each other, should serve to remind us that although the Lukes deserve their time in the spotlight the glory is becoming more and more widely spread.
The PDC’s Pro, tier and affiliated tours have all closed out their season and we will attempt to bring you up to date within these pages.
Amateur darts is also thriving with the WDF getting back to something like their true form with a new World Masters in Hungary and Lakeside event that promised many a fairytale story to warm the most cynical of hearts.
The ADC and WADC have played their main tours and their 8 player finals events, held at MODUS ‘s Live Lounge. Were both popular and gripping affairs. The Super Series is into latest Champions Week and is now totally integrated into the calendar
UKDA have completed their 4th rubber of games for the 2024/25 season! Catch up from page 52 onwards.
The Alexandra Palace party is almost upon us so for those of you who celebrate Dartmas and to help keep you informed visit dartsworld.com – join the family – where you will now find all our magazines in one place together with constantly updated content.
