A further 16 players, including Ted Evetts, John O’Shea and Kai Gotthardt progressed through to the Final Stage of their respective Qualifying Schools on Tuesday, as Stage One continued in Milton Keynes and Kalkar, Germany.
Day One of 2025 PDC Qualifying School saw the likes of Max Hopp, Bradley Brooks and Shane McGuirk progress through to the Final Stage outright, with Wednesday being the final opportunity for players to secure their place, either automatically, or via their respective Order of Merit’s.
UK Q School:
Former PDC World Youth Champion, Ted Evetts, headlined the eight automatic qualifiers on Day Two at UK Q School, as ‘Super Ted’ recorded victories on the dayagainst Liam Saxon, Carl Sneyd, Colin Osborne, Kevin Lane and Jim McEwan, as he looks to regain his Tour Card having
lost it at the end of 2023.
Former PDC Tour Card Holder, John O’Shea, also progressed through to the Final Stage on Day Two, as ‘The Joker’ recorded victories against Carl Wilson, Paul Rowley, David Hill, Mark McGeeney and Fallon Sherrock, as he looks to rejoin the senior PDC Tour.
Elsewhere, the further six automatic qualifiers included Scottish duo in Nathan Girvan and Scott
Campbell, England’s Jamie Atkins and Jim Moston, as well as Ireland’s Michael Flynn and Wales’ Kelvin O’Keefe, all of which are yet to hold a PDC Tour Card in their careers to date.
European Q School:
2024 German Super League Champion, Kai Gotthardt, headlined the eight automatic qualifiers on Day Two of European Q School, as he recorded victories on the day against Nick Hijmans,Nandor Major, Xanti Van den Bergh, Jannes Bremermann, Rusty-Jake Rodriguez and Dmitriy Zhukov, to take a step closer to winning a PDC Tour Card for the first time in his career.
Canada’s David Cameron also progressed through to the Final Stage, as he recorded victories against Xavier Bracke, Dominic Ferrero, Dominik Cavajda, Ben Robb and Stefan Dees, with the Canadian looking to join his fellow compatriot Matt Campbell on the PDC Pro Tour for the first
time.
Elsewhere, the further six automatic qualifiers included Sweden’s Viktor Tingstrom, Switzerland’s Marcel Walpen, German duo in Jannes Barkhausen and Patrick Klingelhoefer, as well as Dutch duo in Stefan Schroder and Ricardo Ulrich, all of which are yet to hold a PDC Tour
Card in their careers to date.
PDC Qualifying School continues on Wednesday, in the UK and in Europe, with the final 16 automatic spots up for grabs, with the remaining spots to be offered out via the Order of Merit’s across both fields to make-up a 128-player field for the Final Stage commencing on
Thursday.
