Andreas’s Faultless Iceland Weekend

Play the Pro Darts Scorer

ANDREAS Harrysson clinched back-to-back titles during the latest PDC Nordic & Baltic weekend, boosting the Swede’s hopes of making a World Darts Championship debut in December.

Harrysson, a MODUS Super Series winner, won ten consecutive matches across the year’s third ProTour weekend in Iceland, doubling his Nordic & Baltic title tally with success in Events Five and Six.

Harrysson edged out Finland’s Marko Kantele in Saturday’s Event Five showpiece, overturning a 5-3 deficit with legs of 13, 18 and 11 darts to complete a terrific comeback.

The 49-year-old also won through a deciding-leg clash against Kantele’s compatriot Teemu Harju in the semi-finals, having cruised past Oskar Lukasiak, Niels Heinsoe and Kamil Mocek earlier in the day.

Harrysson then completed the double with Event Six glory on Sunday, sealed with a resounding 6-2 victory against his fellow countryman Lukasiak.

The Swede won six straight legs to clinch the title, having again denied Kantele in a last-leg shoot-out – this time in the semi-finals.

Harrysson also averaged 98 to complete a dominant 6-1 triumph against Darius Labanauskas in the last eight, after coming through hard-fought encounters against Bjorn Lejon and Ralfs Laumanis in the opening two rounds.

Following the first six events of the year, Harrysson boasts a sizeable lead over Lukasiak on the Nordic & Baltic Order of Merit, with Kantele and Latvia’s Valters Melderis making up the top four.

The 2025 Nordic & Baltic ProTour season continues next month, as ProTour Events 7-8 and Qualifiers for European Tour Events 7-9 take place in Finland from May 9-11.
