PDC Peacocking in North America

Play the Pro Darts Scorer

The Professional Darts Corporation appears to be expanding it’s efforts in North America as it announced on Thursday that it will partner with NBC Sports to stream events on their relatively new ‘Peacock’ streaming service.

Thursday’s Premier League Darts play-off featuring Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Nathan Aspinall and Gerwyn Price is likely to be the first event to gain major traction in the new tie in.

‘The Boardroom’ notes that this partnership could be a major step toward the establishment and growth of the American game. In the United States previously the only way to watch most PDC Darts events was through DAZN or if you bought a PDC TV subscription. But, many viewers have Peacock subscriptions as part of their cable packaages and for other reasons such as sports or news stations.

Importantly the service will then cover 2025 US Darts Masters from The Theater at Madison Square Garden from 27 June – 28 June as the event picks up momentum with its annual sell out darts party.

Next will World Matchplay in July, World Grand Prix in October, Grand Slam of Darts in November and the World Championship in December/January.

PDC Darts has been growing increasingly , at a global level, for a decade or more. But the last over the past 18 months have seen a rapid acceleration.

Adding a mainstream route for viewers in the United States to have access to watching these major events tournaments can only be another boost.
