The Scorpion Finds His Sting as Pronk Tops MSS Table

Lorenzo Pronk moved to the top of the table on Tuesday, after winning three of his five matches on Day Two and looks to secure his place in Saturday’s finale, going into the final day of Group A on Wednesday.

Pronk, who entered Tuesday’s play on 6 points from the opening day of Group A, won three matches from five again to go top of the table, as he recorded victories against Andy Hamilton, Carl Sneyd and Joe Croft, with his two defeats coming against David Fatum (pictured) and Ricardo Ulrich, to sit on 12 points from a possible 20 thus far.

Fatum showed why he he is having such a fine WDF season. The Scorpion claimed 4 wins from 5 matches as he settled into the unique environment that is the Super Series.

Elsewhere, Joe Croft also ended the day on 12 points, but sits in 2^nd behind Pronk on leg difference, whilst three players in Carl Sneyd, Ricardo Ulrich and David Fatum sit 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th respectively on 10 points each, with Andy Hamilton sitting bottom on 6 points.

The Modus Super Series continues on Wednesday with the six players returning on the final day of Group A, hoping to boost their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s Finale, with Pronk leading the way thus far.

Players who finish in places 2-6 will be split into two groups for Thursday and Friday’s play with Afternoon and Evening sessions taking place on both days, as well as new players entering the fray.

Play will begin at 9:30am BST on Wednesday and will be streamed live on The Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
